Not My Finest Moment | Mark 14:68
We all carry moments we would rather forget. Peter carried one too.
When a servant girl pressed him about Jesus, Peter answered, "I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest" (Mark 14:68, KJV). Then the rooster crowed.
This vintage design pairs a little self-deprecating humor with a far greater truth: your failures do not get the final word. Peter denied Christ, and Christ restored Peter (John 21:15-19).
A small engraved rooster with "Not My Finest Moment" sits on the left chest. Peter's words from Mark 14:68 fill the back above a woodcut scene of the courtyard fire. Wear it, and let someone ask.
