Our Vision

Travis Tyler
Dr. Travis Tyler serves as a pastor, author, teacher, and founder of Faithfully Entrusted, a ministry committed to entrusting biblical truth to every generation.
Travis has served in local church ministry for more than two decades and has served as Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Elizabethton, Tennessee, since 2013. His ministry reflects a deep conviction that healthy churches grow through faithful biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, genuine Christian community, and a commitment to the Great Commission.
He earned a Bachelor of Science from East Tennessee State University, a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Church Revitalization from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Through Faithfully Entrusted Press, Travis writes and publishes accessible biblical resources designed for pastors, churches, families, and individual believers. His work emphasizes careful handling of Scripture while helping ordinary Christians understand how biblical truth shapes everyday life. He also develops discipleship and Bible study resources through Truth Entrusted.
Travis founded Faithfully Entrusted from Paul's charge in 2 Timothy 2:2: "what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also." That pattern captures the heart behind his ministry: receive the truth faithfully, live it faithfully, and entrust it faithfully to those who follow.
Alongside his writing and pastoral ministry, Travis has served churches and individuals through discipleship, pastoral care, church revitalization, grief ministry, and Christian soul care.
When Hurricane Helene struck in September 2024, Travis and members of Grace Baptist Church reached the cut-off mountain community of Poga by off-road vehicle. The church voted unanimously to host Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief, housed its volunteers for more than a year, and ministered to hundreds of families across Carter County. Travis also chaired the Carter County Long-Term Recovery Group from the fall of 2024 until April 2026. Tennessee recognized that work with the Governor's Volunteer Stars Award, and State Representative Renea Jones presented a proclamation in its honor before the Elizabethton City Council.

Travis and his wife, Becki, live in East Tennessee with their family. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing the rivers and streams of East Tennessee, and helping people discover how the timeless truth of Scripture speaks into real life.
His desire remains simple: Entrusting the truth to all generations.
